Curbside Pickup and Local Delivery Instructions

This is the preliminary start for the system to support curbside pickup and local delivery. These instructions and the whole process will change rapidly as we make additional enhancements to the process. At this time, these instructions will only work for systems pointing at our Beta server. If you would like to use either the Curbside or Local Delivery enhancements, then contact Pinogy Support for assistance in updating your system.

To enable Curbside or Local Delivery in the system, you first have to add them as an Add On. This is done under Global Settings & Configuration, in the Add On section.

Instructions - Curbside

  1. In the Cash Register, click on “Start Delivery” and then select “Curbside”

  2. Ring up your sale like you normally would. Don’t forget to add a customer onto the sale, including a mobile phone number.

  3. Once you have finished adding the products, put the sale on Hold.

  4. Pick the products ahead of time so they are ready when the customer arrives.

  5. When the customer calls or texts you that they are in the parking spot waiting, reopen the order by clicking on “Open Hold”, selecting the “Curbside” tab, and selecting the customer.

    1. Either take the payment over the phone or walk out to the car to get the payment or credit card.

    2. Record the payment in the cash register, close the sale, and print the receipt.

    3. Take the items from the order, the receipt, and the credit card or change out to the customer.

 Instructions - Local Delivery
