Adding Pet Type Image to display on our websites

This article is for anyone who needs to add images to our Pet Type Categories that will then appear on our Websites.

To add images to our Pet types first open Pet Tracker and then go to Settings. In Settings it should default to Pet Types as the first open tab so then either double click the Pet Type you want to add an image for or select it and click Manage. For the example we selected Amphibian. In the Manage Pet Type window go to the Media tab. There click Select File to open your computer's file browser.

In the File Browser go to the folder your images are in and then select the image you want to use. For the example I went to my downloads folder and selected a random image that is not an amphibian but that doesn’t matter for the example. Once you have selected the image you want to use click Open.

The image will now appear in the Manage Pet Type window and you can edit what part of it will be displayed by adjusting the square selection tool. The selected image will have to be at least 400x400 pixels. Once done click the Crop and Save button.

The cropped image will then show up on the media tab and can be deleted with the red X or edited with the Pencil. Clicking save will then save that image to be displayed for that Pet Type on the website.
