How to add a QR code To a LMP sale

This article is for anyone who needs to add a QR code to a puppy (or other animal) sale.

 

If your store has LostMyPet enabled then you will need to add the QR Code to any new pet sales.

To do this sell the animal as normal in Pet Tracker. Select the Animal and choose $ Sell Now.

 

A sale with the animal and LMP Better Enrollment will appear. Some stores have more as part of the sale but our example will only have those 2 items.

 

If you try to click $ Pay it will give you an error saying that there is no QR code

You will have to his ok on the error. As the error message says click the Pencil next to the LMP Better Enrollment to edit it. You will get a window that has 3 buttons. The third is Change QR Tag. Click that to get a window to enter in the QR Tag. Once the tag is entered in continue the sale as normal.

 

 

If you need to see where the QR Tag number comes from it is found within the Puppy Resource Kit that we provide. There will be a folder and within the folder is a plastic card with the Temporary QR tag on it. The tag will have the number.
