POS 0.172 Release Notes (2018-01-23)

New Features and Enhancements

* The following reports have been added and are now available:
  Commission Edits (xls)
  Tips Edit (xls)
  Products Sold
* The Open and Close Tray processes now have options to count individual bills, coins, and rolls, verse just entering the total amount in.
* There is now an option when closing the tray to print out a Closing Receipt.  The Closing Receipt will show the opening and closing values, along with the over/under for that tray session.
* The is also a new Journel Receipt which can also be printed at the time a tray is closed. This receipt prints out a full history of the payments associated with that tray session.
* Lastly, there is now an Opening Receipt which will print out the opening counts so it can be stored in the draw.
* Managers and Admins can select Recount Tray from any device that doesn't have an open tray and then recount the previous trays and make corrections if needed.
* There is now a "Make Change" option available on the sales screen. Users should use this option to record when they need to open the cash tray to make change for a customer.
* There is now a "Wrong Change" option available on the sales screen. Users should use this option to record when they need to reopen the cash tray to correct the wrong amount of change being handed to the customer
* The Petty Cash Withdrawal option can now be used when money needs to be pulled out of the cash tray for miscellaneous expenses.
* The Petty Cash Deposit option can then be used to put money back into the cash tray after it has been withdrawn previous. A common use for this is for when you need to put change back in the drawer after purchasing some supplies.
* If you ever end up with too much cash in your drawer in the middle of the day, you can now use the "Midday Withdrawal" option to pull some of it out without fully closing out the cash tray.
* Open Cash Drawer "On Finish" has been added to "At Time of Payment" and "Do Not Open" options. Selecting this option will delay the cash drawer opening until you press the "Finish" button during the sale. This option is set on the "Payment Types".
* You can now require a customer be entered on a return.  This is set on each device in the Cash Register → Settings area.  Just check the "Require Customer on Return" checkbox.
* Managers and Admins can now create new time clock records for their employees even if they haven't clocked in.
* There is a new Commissionable Amount/Split field in the Employee view under the Employee Dashboard Rewards section.

Bug Fixes and Minor Enhancements

* Managers can now only change permissions on clerks assigned to their locations.
* The Employee Management screen now shows the last time each employee logged in.
* Reports scheduled for the last week will now report on the last 7 days instead of the last 8 days.
* The Open Holds, Quotes, Layaways, and Returns screen now includes a "Show Exceptions" checkbox. Only invoices that where properly put on hold will now show up by default. If for some reason, the cash register gets closed abruptly, or some other issue occurs that results in the sales screen closing without putting the invoice on hold cleanly, those records will now show only if the "Show Exception" checkbox is checked.
* The New Qty on Hand record shown during full inventories was not taking into account the reset value that was also created on the same inventory. This did not actually cause the count to be off, but caused confusion in how the quantity was being displayed.
* Scanning a product label during inventory will no longer cause the Barcode/SKU search dropdown to change to sku after each scan.
* The select customer button should no longer get off and sometimes show other button options.
* The country field can now accept 2 or 3 character abbreviations during Customer Imports.
* The Supplier Name has been added to the top of the PO Inventory Count sheet. 
* You can now enter fractional quantities during inventory
* The Quote receipt has had the payment section and the word on in "Expires on:" removed for better clarity.
* The customers name on the Open Invoice form will now show the customers with both a business and personal name as "Business: First Last".
