POS 0.126 Release Notes (2017-01-24)
Bug Fixes and Minor Enhancements
- As this is the first bug fix since promotions have been released, there are quite a few bug fixes in this area. These include an issue where a promotion can discount the wrong product, not being able to save products associated with a promo, and not being able to remove qualifiers all the time. In addition, there has been a slew of minor enhancements including being able to add multiple products at one time.
- An issue that prevented pricing groups from cloning when creating new pricing groups has been corrected. In addition, all prices and costs will now default to have a 0.00 cost and price when non is entered and the entry method does not require them to be entered.
- In the prior release, you couldn't select a customer before the first product was added onto a transaction. This is now possible again.
- A cosmetic issue with the formatting of a tax was causing the End of Day report to not generate on some stores. This has also been corrected.
- Browsing through multiple invoices using the pagination controls should now work 100% of the time.
- Adding a product onto a transaction was taking a little over 2 seconds in the last release. We have reduced that down to under a tenth of a second in this release.
- The "Initialize Gateway" form that shows the status of a pinpad getting initialized was accidently caught up with error reporting enhancements and prevented from opening in the last release. That form is now back.
- "Update Purchase Options" Mass Action in Products will now clear the Min and Max Safety Stock numbers set if those fields are left blank.
- A tray is now automatically created when a device is created.
