POS 0.133 Release Notes (2017-03-29)
New Features and Enhancements
You can not create and print quotes from the Cash Register.
- Product Management and new product creation now has a markup field to allow for calculating prices. There is also a setting that can be set client wide that will set the markup calculation so it will only increase the price of a product.
- You can now enter notes on Invoice Transaction Lines by clicking on the line and then clicking on notes at the bottom.
- Inventory Financing integration is now available in Purchasing and Receiving. Contact your Account Manager for details and to get signed up today.
- You can now set the system to prompt for a user password after each invoice.
- The system can now prompt for a Manager or Admin password when a price is reduced, or discounts greater than a certain percentage are entered.
- Integrated Credit and Debit card receipts will now reprint with the regular receipt in Invoice History.
- Integrated Trancloud credit and debit cards will now attempt to requery for the last payment status if no response is received.
- There is now a separate Discount line that shows on the sales screen and also prints on the receipt.
- The Bonus Bucks balance will now show on the customer card if the POS is integrated with the Pinogy Loyalty Program.
- On Hand and Total On Order columns have been added tp Manage Purchase Order.
- There is now a Closed Purchase Order option under Purchase and Receiving.
- When a discount is added, there will now be an Original Price row that will show the Original Price before the discount on both the screen and the receipt.
Bug Fixes and Minor Enhancements
- Invoice Letter Receipt should now print for all clients. An issue prevented this version of the receipt from printing for a small number of clients.
- There have been many bug fixes to Inventory taking in the system. These include fixes for multiple locations, correcting replace, changing of quantities of prior entered inventory entries, and being able to enter quantities with decimals.
- Layaways have had a couple fixes on how they are canceled and payments balanced out.
- An issue that prevented creating a customer without an email has been corrected.
- Quick Cash buttons now update when partial payments are made.
- The Layaway receipt now includes the Customer Name.
- The Layaway receipt disclaimer will now print on the receipt.
- The manual due date should now be reflected correctly in both the Cash Register and on the receipt.
- It is now easier to enter a negative quantity when trying to adjust inventory under Manage Product.
- An issue which caused periods to get repeated under the movement history of Manage Products has been corrected.
- Imported customers now have the US selected by default for their country if no country is specified.
- A check on if the barcode exists when creating a product not only checks if a barcode is actually entered.
- An issue that caused the cost to show correctly, and update incorrectly at times has been corrected.
- You can now change a gift card number after you have entered it in the Sales Screen now.
- Long descriptions will now longer push the qty off the screen in Inventory.
- The customers Business Name will now be shown if it exists before the Customers First and Last Name in Customer Management and on the Customer Card in the Sales Screen.
- The Save Verifications and Verify Now buttons no longer disappear on Receivings after they have been pressed.
- Emails are now required for Suppliers if Send Via is set to Email.
