POS 0.152 Release Notes (2017-07-07)
New Features and Enhancements
- There are now custom tooltips that will show when a validation error occurs. These tips give better feedback on a cell by cell basis to better help the client know what needs correcting and how to correct it.
- The last 10 products scanned on a device when taking inventory will now show if the Count Inventory screen is closed and then reopened.
Bug Fixes and Minor Enhancements
Extended action sales with no add ons will now work, adding only the primary product to the sales screen.
The Installer and Updater will now give a warning instead of failing if the Local System Account is broken. This does result in the POS not being able to update automatically when new releases come out, but instead will prompt the user of the device to update the device manually.
Address and Folder labels have been shifted to the right to make them fit better onto the standard 2"x1" labels.
Extended Action bundled lines now respect their individual tax rates, instead of using the same tax rate as the parent.
A Purchase tab has been added under the Product History to view past purchases.
The Ordered Quantity column when receiving a PO was showing the same quantity as the Received Quantity. This has been corrected.
The price in the PO Receiving Discrepancy report was going against the Ordered Quantity instead of the Received Quantity. That has been corrected.
The Quantity and Price keypads no longer allow for flipping a number between positive and negative.
Selling a product from an extended action application should now be faster as the software will no longer wait 10 seconds for the Cash Register to open before sending over the product information. It will instead send it as soon as the Cash Register is now open.
