POS 2.81 Release Notes (2023-12-21)
Features and Enhancements
You can now disable false positive product warnings on individual products.
Minor Enhancements and Bug Fixes
There is a new Shelf label with the Product Description, Barcode, SKU, and Price.
An issue that was affecting having commissions getting applied to products within bundles has been fixed.
As we haven’t been able to prevent the welcome slide-down from sometimes freezing, it has been disabled.
There is a new permission that will allow a user role to modify a PO in the “Submitted” status.
When selecting product labels, you can now see an image of what the label will look like.
The require customer option will only require the customer before being able to complete the sale instead of before anything else can occur going forward. This will prevent the need to scan or send a product to the cash register twice when the first time is before the customer is added to the sale and should result in fewer errors.
A previous change that switched the pet sale price from showing as a discount instead of overriding the price has been reversed.
Selecting an unsupported receipt printer will now give you two options so you can manually set the cut and drawer kick codes.
Support for a new Astro Offer type of FreePunch has been added.
Beta Features
Initial support for Repeat Orders has been added to the system.
A consumer-facing tablet to help ensure you have accurate customer information when selling a pet is now available for beta testing.
