How to create Manufacturers

In the Products module, you can add Manufacturers that can then be assigned to the appropriate products for organizational and reporting purposes.

 To create a Manufacturer

  1. open the Products Module

  2. Click the Settings button

  3. Click the Manufacturers tab

  4. Click New to add a new manufacturer.

  5. This will open the Manage Manufacturer window where you can edit the information for the manufacturer

    1. On the Contact Info tab you can enter the enter the manufacturer contact information.

    2. Notes tab - this tab allows you to enter any special notes about the manufacturer.

    3. Brandstab - This tab allows you to assign brands to the manufacturer. Click the add button, type the brand name, and hit save in the manage brand window to add the brand.

    4. Mfg Media - This tab allows you to add images to the manufacturer. Click the Select File button to search your file system for an image. It will then let you crop the image and then save it.

    5. Marketing tab - This tab allows you to add additional information that will show up on a Pinogy Ecom store.

      1. Check the Featured checkbox to add it to the Featured Manufacturer menu

      2. Check the Public checkbox to have the manufacturer be visible in the store

      3. Fill out the Marketing Header to add the header to the manufacturer

      4. Fill out the Marketing description to add additional information on the manufacturers page

  6. Click Save when done.
