How to use the Non Buying Customer List (xls) report

This article is for anyone who wants to use the Non Buying Customer List (xls) report.

 

The Non Buying Customer List (xls) report was added so that store’s can check for customers that have not shopped at the store recently and be targeted with coupons or other advertising to get them back into the store.

 

To access the report :

  1. Open and login to the Cash Register.

  2. Go to the Reports tab.

  3. Select the Non Buying Customer List (xls) report.

  4. Set the location (if there are multiple stores it can be per individual store or all locations)

  5. Set the time Period.

  6. Click Generate Report.

 

This will generate the report and it should open in your spreadsheet program. For this example, I am using Libreoffice so it may look a little different in Excel.

 

The first column will be the last purchase date. You can sort this to see who hasn’t been in the longest and target these customers. Their email addresses, phone numbers, and mailing addresses will be listed to the right for entry into your marketing tools.

Another column that may be of interest is the last one to the right. This is their total purchases made and may help you target individuals who are more likely to spend larger amounts.
