What are snippets and how do I edit them

A snippet provides a plugin for your website to inject HTML, CSS or JavaScript directly into your website.

Support does not support Snippets, and the use of snippets is discouraged. Snippets is considered an advanced feature that should only be used by experienced developers that understand html, css, and javascript and know the consequences of any code they inject into the site.

How to Add a Snippet

  1. Click on the 4 Line editing icon.

  2. Click on the + to add a new plugin.

  3. Search for Snippet

  4. Select Snippet from the results.

 

  1. Select the snippet you want from the existing snippets, or

  2. Click the plus to create a new snippet.

 

  1. Type the name of the Snippet you are about to create. Snippets can be reused throughout the site.

  2. Create or copy and paste in the html, css, and/or javascript that you want.

Please be aware that the usage of snippets, and any code in a snippet can easily result in unintended consequences, and potentially could cause a security hazard on your website. snippet

 

How to Edit a Snippet

  1. Find the Snippet on the page, and click on the Pencil next to it.

  2. Click on the pencil next to the name of the snippet you are editing.

  3. Edit the HTML block

  4. Click on Save

  1. Click on Save again to finish saving your changes.
