Invalid Barcode Scanned Warning

When an invalid barcode or search is performed in the Cash Register, a yellow line will appear that shows the invalid value that was entered.

This yellow line will remain on the Invoice and prevent you from being able to move onto the pay screen until it has been removed. This will give you the opportunity to easily figure out what didn’t scan correctly and correctly enter or fix the product record and reenter the item at any point during the check-out process.

We will show the invalid record this way to avoid a pop up style error message which could interfer with the clerk scanning additional items.

If you also “Enabled Sound Feedback” under the Settings → Options screen, then you will also hear an audible error noise when an invalid barcode is scanned in the Sales Screen.
