  1. With the Media tab, you can select your Image Ratio. Options are 1 X 1, 4 X 3, 7 X 11, and 16 X 9.

On the ‘Options’ tab,

  1. Automatic price calculations from markup will not automatically lower the product price; this is set by default. This means that if you are pricing your products by markup, your selling price will not decrease automatically if your received cost does.

  2. With Enable Linked Pricing enabled, you can set a number of products to change prices in unison if your price on one product is changed. For example, if you have twelve flavors of Brand X canned cat food—all the same size and price—changing the price on one of the defined cans will reflect the same price on all defined cans. More on this in the Products - Products section of the Training Guide.

  3. Product Warnings can be set to display if your margin on your products is less than a given value. More on this in the Products - Products section of the Training Guide.

  1. Reserved Products are “products” hidden in the system that trigger certain functionality throughout the Pinogy POS in various places.

  1. Under the ‘Categories’ tab, Categories and Subcategories will be displayed, along with the number of products associated with them, pictures and/or video, etc. New Categories or associated Subcategories can be added by clicking the New button.

  1. Manufacturers will be displayed under the ‘Manufacturers’ tab. New Manufacturers can be added by clicking ‘New’.

  1. Brands can be managed or added under the ‘Brands’ tab. Click ‘New’ to add new Brands and associate them with Manufacturers.
