Features and Enhancements

  • There is a new button on the Astro Loyalty Add on under Options. Underneath the Sync Barcodes option is a “Open elibgible barcodes file”. This will open up a file that contains all of the Astro barcodes that you have in any Astro program, along with the product information in the POS so you can review all items that will be getting submitted to Astro to ensure it’s accuracy.

  • You can now add customer pets under customers, including the pet's name, sex, Breed, color, and much more. There will also be a Customer Pets (xls) report coming out later this week

Bug Fixes and Minor Enhancements

  • There is an additional fix on the PIDB Sync checkbox under the Product Supplier records so it’s now available on products from a supplier without a barcode and therefore have never synced with the supplier.

  • There is a fix on the new Time Clock report that corrects the time for anybody clocked in past midnight.

  • There is a fix for the PO Discrepancy report to better show the value that was over/under.

  • Employee Display Names are now allowed to be 1 character long. Previously they had to be 3 characters long.

  • The Devices tab has been moved to the third tab in Global Settings & Configuration to better represent how often the tabs are used.

Beta Features

If you wish to test one of these features, please call support. They can be selectively turned on on individual computers.

  • AVS Support for manually entering credit cards.

  • Asynchronous receipt printing allows the cash register to continue and not wait for the receipt printer to finish printing.

  • There are two new product Extended actions that are now available. Those are “Pet Subscription” and “Customer Pet”. Both will require that a product set to either of these will require that a customer pet is associated with the product when it’s sold. In addition, the “Pet Subscription” option will also tie a subscription based on the configuration setup on the product.

  • There is a new option on the pin pad configuration to allow disabling of the Confirmation of the Payment Amount prompt. This can be found under Global Settings & Configuration/Payments/Payment Gateways.
