Features and Enhancements

  • There is a new House Account statement with purchased product details.

  • A new product type of Product Tax has been added to the system. This product type should be used for usage-based taxes. A common example of this would be a bag tax.

    • A product tax can be configured on the individual product under the Manage Products → Global Settings → Product Type field.

    • Reports like the End of Day report have been updated to reflect any amount collected separately.

  • Astro Loyalty Frequent Buyer and Offers will now sync into the POS for displaying as promotions on your website. Only Frequent Buyer and Offers that have matching products in the POS and that are allowed to be used online will be created. Please check the terms of each Astro Frequent Buyer and Offer if they do not show up online.

  • You can now redeem multiple Astro Loyalty Frequent Buyer redemptions on the same sale. The redemption window now has arrows at the top right that allows switching between redeemable programs and checkboxes to select which items to redeem.

     

  • Searching while adding products to a PO will now let you queue up multiple products to add to the PO.

Minor Enhancements and Bug Fixes

  • The refresh button in the Cash Register will now refresh the sales screen, including recalculating any promotions.

  • QR Tags now prompt with a yellow bar instead of having to click on the pencil.

  • Star TSP100IIILAN printers are now recognized and supported.

  • There’s a new Mass Action option in PO's to allow you to split products out of the current PO to a new PO.

  • Time stamps have been added to all of the tables under Manage Products → History

  • Time stamps have been added to the pet history tab.

  • Smart Export has been added to the Inventory Management → Reset

  • The help screen now includes a link to our knowledge base under the documentation button.

  • The Customer Display has received a series of updates that fix several issues where the customer display doesn’t keep in sync with the register.

  • Updating products via a mass action in POs will now let you delete the products afterward.

  • The extended cost on the PO Receiving Report has been fixed.

  • Admins can now force a pet from Sold back to Available status.

  • The product search in repeat orders is no longer case-sensitive and now has advanced search options.

  • How payments handle dropped connections, duplicate charge attempts, and other exceptions has been updated to prevent the possibility.

  • Deleting the last product shown on the screen within a Promo will no longer be prevented as long as there is at least one other product still on the promotion.

  • A bug that prevents showing if a customer was linked to Astro or not within Invoice History has been fixed.

  • The Cash Register can now print directly to a desktop printer when invoice receipts are selected.

  • Single-use Saved Credit Cards will no longer show up under Saved Payments.

  • There have been multiple performance enhancements to speed up the amount of time it takes for an app to open, along with general usage throughout the app.

  • The banner that slides down when logging in has been fixed so it no longer freezes. Logging-in notifications have been reenabled with this release.

  • The Start Time for a playdate appointment has been fixed.

  • An update has been made to prevent the possibility of updating quantities in a purchase order before an active scan verification has been closed out. This prevents manually changed quantities from getting overridden when the scan verification is saved.

  • The product count within variant management has been fixed.

  • A mass action has been added to allow for editing multiple supplier records for the same supplier across multiple locations from within a PO.

  • The website options within Pet Types has been updated with new options, and support for multiple websites has been added.

  • An issue that allowed for multiple PETZ coupons to get submitted for one invoice line on rare occasions has been fixed.

  • An issue that resulted in pet adoptions on Pet Ecom websites resulting in a sale instead of a layaway has been fixed.

  • The Inventory Valuation report will now show a 0.00 cost for a product with a 0.00 cost in the system instead of the last non-0.00 cost.

  • There is a new Pet Logbook Report.

  • Google My Business limits accounts to 10,000 images. The Google My Business integration will now remove older images when an account reaches that limit to keep newer images always at the top of the Google My Business feed.

  • The Purchase Order picklist now includes Special Order products.

  • Google Ads will now include an image from the record being advertised.

  • The inventory import from a file with the replace option selected has been fixed.

  • The House Account reports will now be based on which house accounts do not show on the report because they have no balance on the date the report is run for instead of the balance the account has today.
