Pinogy POS Training Guide: Global Settings and Configuration - Locations
The Locations button is where you can update and view all of your Location Information.
Select the location you want by double-clicking or selecting and managing it. The Manage Location window will appear showing Contact Info.
The Website tab allows you to set your location public on the website.
If you have multiple locations, the Default location checkbox allows you to set the primary location on the website.
Marketing Phone is the number that will enable Call Tracking for marketing purposes.
The Latitude and Longitude boxes will allow a Google map to appear with a pin at the precise location of your store.
The Notes tab is where you can put Location-specific notes that only appear on that window.
The Hours tab allows you to View and manage the current store hours of the location.
The Options tab has Pricing Groups, which allow you to share products but set different pricing for the products per location.
Default Tax allows you to set which taxes will apply to the location.
You can set if Reimbursed Discount Taxes will apply Post or Pre Discount.
With the Combine Invoice Lines checkbox, you can set if you want 5 cans with the same barcode to be all on one line or on individual lines. This will apply to both the sales screen and receipt.
In the Receipts tab you can set what will show on the receipt such as store name, store address, store phone number, store email, and customer name.
It is recommended that the Receipt Font and size be left as is since it is time-consuming and some windows fonts are not compatible with receipt printers.
Print Tax Breakdown is for Canada so it is usually left unchecked
If you want to disable the ability to email a receipt uncheck the Disable Email Receipts box.
The Print Itemized Receipt Automatically will make it so you do not have to press the print button after a sale.
Suppress Payment & Signature for payments under (amount), will do just that. For example, if you don't want to require that the customer sign for anything under $100 you could just put that there and then it would not even prompt them to sign unless it was 100 and $1.
The Invoice Disclaimers tab allows you to set up disclaimers that are going to appear at the bottom of your receipts. For Example, “No returns on dead feeder fish “.
This is the same with Delivery Disclaimers.
The Logo Image tab allows you to set an image for your receipts. This section currently only accepts .jpg files.
For more in-depth information about editing receipts, please refer to this guide - How to edit Receipts
Lastly, the Warehouse tab allows you to set a location as a warehouse supplier and set which locations will be able to order from the warehouse.
