Payments controls Payment Methods that are allowed, Payment Types that can show on the payments screen in the Cash Register module, and Payment Gateways that are set up during implementation of the POS.
Common Payment Methods (Amex, Cash, Check, Visa, etc.) are preloaded. Additional Payment Methods, such as coupons, PayPal, financing companies, etc., can be added by clicking the New button.
Payment Types, if enabled, will show on your payment screen in the Cash Register module. You can enable up to 12 buttons, which can be added by clicking the New button.
The Implementations Team sets up Payment Gateways before you go live with the software.
These are used to communicate with payment processors like Cardpointe, loyalty.pinogy.com, and the House Accounts module of the POS.
