How to generate a QR Code for adding a new mobile device to access the POS

To add mobile devices that install our software to the POS they will have to be linked via a QR Code. You will be prompted to scan the QR Code during the installation and setup of the software. On one of your computers with the Pinogy POS installed, an admin-level user will need to generate the QR Code.

 

To generate the QRCode you will need to do the following steps.

  1. Open the Settings and Configuration module

  2. Click on the Devices tab.

  3. Click New.

  4. Click Create Mobile.

  5. Type in a name for the device.

  6. Click Create QR Code.

  7. Scan the QR Code with the Pinogy software when prompted. Make sure the camera on the device is not blocked.

  8. Click Close when done.
