\uD83D\uDCD8 Activate the Add-on
You will need to activate the Questions Add-on on your system before you can edit the questions. If this is already done you can move on to the next section.
Go into Settings and Configuration.
Click on add ons.
Click on new add ons.
Find questions in the list.
Click on it to highlight and the click on Details or double click on it .
Click on Create button to activate the Questions add-on.
The cash register module will need to be closed after adding the add-on.
\uD83D\uDCD8 Adding or editing Questions
Open the Cash Register module.
Click on Settings.
Click on the Questions tab.
Click Add for a new question or double click and existing Question to edit it.
Put the check in Enable
Enter the question to be asked in the Question field.
Put a check in if it is required or leave the check out if it is not required
Set the Classification. There are three options to choose from in the drop down menu.
Customer - Ask if the customer has not answered this question before. - When the customer is added to the sale it will then ask the question if the customer has not answered this question previously.
Invoice Opening - Question will be asked on the Opening of the invoice. - When the first item is added to the sale or a customer is added to the sale to start the invoice, the question will be asked.
Invoice closing - Question will be asked on the Closing of the invoice - The question will be asked on completion of payment.
Set the Question Type. There are three types of questions vs multiple selection
Multiple Selection - this allows multiple answers to be selected
Single Selection - this allows only a single answer to be selected
Free text - this allows the clerk to type in a free form answer
Enter a prewritten answer - only for multiple or single selection options
Click the green plus
Type in an answer
If you want to allow comments, you can put a check there
Press the green plus to, keep adding additional answers
If you want to delete an answer, you can hit the red X as long as there are other answers
Once all desired answers are present, click Save.
If you do not close cash register and reopen it, click on the questions tab, there will be no questions tab initially
\uD83D\uDCD8 Answering Questions
The question will appear during the sale. When it shows up is based on the Classification.
The question popup will appear and the cashier will need to ask the question.
The answer will then be selected or entered in depending on the Question Type.
Click Save when done.
Example of a Multiple or Single Selection question. Multiple lets several be checked and single only one.
Example of a Free Text Question. The answer can be freely typed in the text field.
