How to Create BOGO(Buy One Get One) Promotions

This article explains how to create Buy One Get One (BOGO) deals in Pinogy.

Pinogy currently lacks a true BOGO option. Instead, create a Promotion that requires customers to buy a set quantity to get a discount, making two products cost the same as one.

1. Open the Products Module.

2. Click the Promos Tab.

3. Click New at the bottom right.

4. Click Create Custom.

   1. This opens the Manage Promotion Screen for setup.

5. Set up the BOGO deal as follows:

   1. Name it "Buy One Get One."

   2. Set Type to "Percent Off."

   3. Set Percent to 50%.

   4. Choose how to Limit By.

   5. Set Min Buy Qty to 2.

      1. Decide if the BOGO applies to the entire Promotion or each item.

   6. Set Max Qty Per Sale to 2.

      1. Matching Max Qty Per Sale to Min Buy Qty is best. Otherwise buying 3 still gives 50% off the 3rd item.

6. Other settings are optional to fit your store and promotion.

• Use this Promotion for any amount by adjusting the percent and Min Buy Qty accordingly.

  • Buy 2 Get 1 should be set to 33% and Min Buy Qty of 3.

  • Buy 3 Get 1 should be set to 25% and Min Buy Qty of 4.

  • Buy 4 Get 1 should be set to 20% and Min Buy Qty of 5.

  • Buy 5 Get 1 should be set to 17% and Min Buy Qty of 6.

  • Etc…
