How to Reduce Receipt Printing Too Many Copies

This article explains how to reduce the number of receipts generated by the POS.

  1. Open Global Settings & Configuration

  2. Click the Locations tab

  3. Select the location to adjust and click Manage in the bottom right corner

  4. Click the Receipts tab

  5. Under the Print Receipts tab, you can adjust two settings

    1. Print Itemized Receipt Automatically: If checked, the POS prints a receipt for all transactions. Unchecking it makes receipt printing optional during checkout. Applies to non-credit transactions.

    2. Suppress Payment Receipts & Signature Capture for Payments Under _______: This setting prevents receipts for credit transactions below a specified amount.
