How to show barcodes on receipts

This article is for anyone who needs to know how to set barcodes to be printed on receipts.

Some stores want to be able to show the barcode for each product on receipts. This can be done by changing the receipt format from Standard to Extended. NOTE: These barcodes are not scannable, just printed under the product Description.

In order to have the UPC barcodes show on the invoices, you'll need to:

Launch the Settings and Configuration application, click on the Locations tab, and choose the correct location by double-clicking or single-clicking and pressing the manage button. If you have multiple locations, you would need to change this setting for each location. You can follow the steps in the image below.

Once you have chosen your Location, you'll click on the Receipts tab, then the Print Receipts tab, and towards the bottom, there is an option called "Select Print Receipt Format", click the drop-down and change from "Standard" to "Extended". You can follow the steps in the images below.
