How to manually add a repeat order to a customer's account.

This article is for anyone who needs to add a repeat order to a customer manually.

Most repeat orders are added through our e-commerce websites, but they can also be added in-store in any of our modules that have the Customers button.

To do this please do the following

  1. Open any module that has Customers. For this guide we will use Cash Register.

  2. Click on the Customers button.

  3. Highlight the customer you want to add a repeat order to.

  4. Click the Manage button.

  5. Click the Sales tab.

  6. Click the Repeat Orders tab.

  7. Click the Add button.

  8. Select/highlight the Product you want to set as a repeat order. You can only select and add one product at a time when adding Repeat Orders manually. Repeat these steps for each additional product.

  9. Click the Select button. You can only select and add one product at a time when adding Repeat Orders manually. Repeat these steps for each additional product.

This will then send the product to the Manage Repeat Order window. This window has several configurable options.

 

Change the Quantity with the Qty field.

In the Schedule section, there are several options.

First is the Delivery Type drop-down menu. The Options will be Scheduled for Scheduled Delivery, Ship for Ship to Home, and Pickup for Store Pickup. If you choose Pickup the Delivery Address dropdown menu will disappear.

The Location dropdown will let you choose which location this order will be handled at if you have multiple locations.

If the customer has multiple addresses, the address to be delivered to can be selected with the Delivery Address. It will only have a single address if they only have one.

The Start Date can be selected from a calendar by clicking on the drop-down arrow for the Start Date field. It will default to the current date.

The frequency of the order is set with the Repeat drop down. Which option is selected will change what the Every drop-down shows.

 

Day of the Month: This will change the Every drop-down to 1-10 months (for every 2 months, 3, months, etc up to every 10 months) and then let you select which day of the month to handle the order on from 1-31 (if 31 is chosen, a month with less than 31 days will default to the last day of the month).

Weekly: This will change the Every drop-down to 1-7 weeks (for every 2 weeks, 3 weeks, etc up to every 7 weeks) and then let you select which day of the week to handle the order on from Sunday to Saturday.

Monthly: This will change the Every drop-down to 1-10 months (for every 2 months, 3, months, etc up to every 10 months) and then let you select which week of the month to handle the order on from 1-4 and which day of the week to handle the order on Sunday-Saturday.

Daily: This will change the Every drop-down to 1-31 days for handling the order every day, every 2, 3, etc days up to 31.

After all options have been set click the Create button to create the Repeat order.

It may take a few minutes for the saved order to appear. Click the Save button on the Manage Customer window when all repeat orders have been entered.
