How to Adjust Whether a Paperwork Prints and Set Print Quantities

After new paperwork has been added to the POS or updated it will need to be set on when to print. New paperwork will need to have print quantities set while updated paperwork that was already present will need to have the old paperwork set to not print and the updated version set to print in its place. These can be set to print multiples of the same paperwork in case the store and the customer needs to keep copies of any signed paperwork.

 

When we upload paperwork that is dynamically changed for pets we will put the date we uploaded it to your system in the file name. This will help keep track of which paperwork is the most recent and needs to be set to print if you just had changes made.

To edit paperwork print quantities :

  1. Open Pet Tracker.

  2. Click on the Settings button.

  3. Click on the Paperwork tab.

  4. Select the Paperwork you want to edit the print settings for.

  5. Either double-click the Paperwork or click the Manage button.

In the Manage Paperwork window that will open, you make several changes.

  1. If this is paperwork that we have adjusted for you to be dynamically changed for each pet, do not change anything in this section. Changing things here can cause the paperwork to stop functioning.

  2. This lets you set the amount of paperwork to be printed when a pet is created in the POS. Create Paperwork is usually health records, kennels card, vet information, and other similar info that will be used while the pet is being taken care of in the store. Set the Create Print Qty to the amount you would like printed when a pet is created. This can be set to 0 to not print any or 1 or more to print as many copies as specified.

  3. This is checked if the paperwork is to be used with the Pinogy Pet Adoption tablet software.

  4. This lets you set the amount of paperwork to be printed before a pet is sold. In the Cash Register there will be a yellow bar that will have be to be clicked to generate the paperwork before the sale can continue. Set the Pre Sale Print Qty to the amount you would like printed before a pet is sold. This can be set to 0 to not print any or 1 or more to print as many copies as specified.

  5. This lets you set the amount of paperwork to be printed after a pet is sold. Set the Post Sale Print Qty to the amount you would like printed after a pet is sold. This can be set to 0 to not print any or 1 or more to print as many copies as specified.

  6. Use this to set the position in the paperwork you want this paperwork to print. All of your other paperwork will also need to have the sort order set for this to be printed in the correct position.

  7. Use the Preview button to generate an example of the paperwork to ensure it is correct in pulling information and how it looks.

  8. Click Save when done.
