How to setup API Access
This article is for anyone who needs to setup a new API Access add-on for developers to use to access the Pinogy POS API for a store.
API Access granted by this add on is intended for the use of the store only. Usage above certain limits, that require advanced capabilities, or by third parties will require a separate API agreement.
To Create the Add-On
Open the Settings and Configuration module and log in.
Click the Add Ons button
Click on the New Add Ons tab.
Select API Access.
Click Details. This will open the Manage Integration window.
Click on the Configure tab.
Enter a name for the API access.
Select the location which you need API access for. If there is only one location, it will be selected already, but if there are multiple locations, you will need to set up an API access for each one.
Click Create to create the add-on.
After the add-on is created click on the My Add Ons tab
Select the API Access add-on you just created.
Click Manage. This will open the Manage Integration window.
Click on the Configure tab. This will let you change the name if needed and displays the Access, Secret, and Password that your developers will need to access the Pinogy POS API.
Click Save or Cancel when done. Save is only needed if the name was changed.
