You will then get a screen where you can select previously created Promotions or create a new one. To create a new one, click on ‘Create Custom’.

For our example, we will create a 10% off cases promotion. There are many other options to choose from, and there will be a section to explain them afterward. In the Manage Promotion window, we will first have to set a few things.

Click on the Included Products tab. If you click “Save” here. it will also give you an error, saying you need to select the products, and take you to the tab.

  1. Set the Name of the promotion.

  1. Set the type with the ‘drop-down menu’. There are a few options, depending on what is selected, it will change the field where we set the discount percent, price, etc.

3. Set the Percent off. In the example, we set a percent value, and it will take that much off an item purchased in the promotion.

  1. For this example, we set the Limit By to Selected Products. The other options here are explained at the end of this document.

Press ‘enter’ on the search bar to show all products or search the products individually.

Select the products and click Add Selected to include them in the promotion. If the ‘Add another' checkbox is checked this will allow you to search again for different products. Once you are done adding products, press ‘close’.

Products that have already been added to this promotion will not show up in your search results. Products that have the product option set of “Product Excluded from All Promotions” will also not show up in the promotions module as they have been excluded from all promotions.

This will add the item to the list of products in the promotion. Once all of the items you want in the list have been added, click ‘Save’ to save the promotion.

When an item that is part of the promotion is rung up, it will now show as 10% off.

The other “Limit By” options are:

This will allow you to select specific products that this promo will not apply to.

This will allow you to select whole categories that this promo will not apply to.

This will allow you to select specific Categories that this promo will apply to.
