How to change a pet's litter
If you have a puppy or other pet that has been placed in the wrong litter please follow the steps below:
- Update the pet's status that has been placed in the wrong litter to "Exception."
2. On the main Pet Tracker window create a new pet and add them to the correct litter.
3. (Helpful Tip) Add a note in the Notes section for both the old and new pet referencing each other to avoid questions in the future.
If the pet was sold to a customer:
- In Cash Register, return the pet that was placed in the wrong litter.
- In Pet Tracker, update the pet's Status to "Exception."
- Create a new pet and add them to the correct litter.
- Ensure that all the information on the pet and the customer are correct.
- In Cash Register, sell the pet to the correct customer.
- Reprint the paperwork with the correct information.
- (Helpful Tip) Add a note in the Notes section for both the old and new pet referencing each other to avoid questions in the future.
