How to change a pet's litter


If you have a puppy or other pet that has been placed in the wrong litter please follow the steps below:

  1. Update the pet's status that has been placed in the wrong litter to "Exception."

      2. On the main Pet Tracker window create a new pet and add them to the correct litter.

      3. (Helpful Tip) Add a note in the Notes section for both the old and new pet referencing each other to avoid questions in the future.

If the pet was sold to a customer:

  1. In Cash Register, return the pet that was placed in the wrong litter.
  2. In Pet Tracker, update the pet's Status to "Exception."
  3. Create a new pet and add them to the correct litter.
  4. Ensure that all the information on the pet and the customer are correct.
  5. In Cash Register, sell the pet to the correct customer.
  6. Reprint the paperwork with the correct information.
  7. (Helpful Tip) Add a note in the Notes section for both the old and new pet referencing each other to avoid questions in the future.
