\uD83D\uDCD8 Activate the Add-on

You will need to activate the Questions Add-on on your system before you can edit the questions. If this is already done, you can move on to the next section.

  1. Go into Settings ‘Settings and ConfigurationConfiguration’.

  2. Click on Add‘Add-OnsOns’.

  3. Click on new ‘new Add-OnsOn’s.

  4. Find questions in the list.

  5. Click on it to highlight, then click on 'Details,' or double-click on it.

  6. Click on Create button to activate the Questions Add-On.

The cash register module will need to be closed after adding the add-on.

\uD83D\uDCD8 Adding or editing Questions.

  1. Open the Cash Register ‘Cash Register’ module.

  2. Click on Settings‘Setting’s.

  3. Click on the Questions ‘Questions’ tab.

  4. Click 'Add' for a new question or double-click an existing Question to edit it.

  5. Put a check in the 'Enable' box.

  6. Enter the question to be asked in the Question field.

  7. Check the box if it is required, or leave it unchecked if it is not.

  8. Set the Classification‘Classification’. There are three options to choose from in the drop-down menu.

    1. Customer - Ask if the customer has not answered this question before. - When the customer is added to the sale it will then ask the question if the customer has not answered this question previously.

    2. Invoice Opening - Question will be asked on the Opening of the invoice. - When the first item is added to the sale or a customer is added to the sale to start the invoice, the question will be asked.

    3. Invoice closing - Question will be asked on the Closing of the invoice - The question will be asked on completion of payment.

  9. Set the Question Type. There are three types of questions vs multiple selection.

    1. Multiple Selection - this allows multiple answers to be selected.

    2. Single Selection - this allows only a single answer to be selected.

    3. Free text - this allows the clerk to type in a free form answer.

  10. Enter a prewritten answer - only for multiple or single selection options.

    1. Click the green plus‘Plus’.

    2. Type in an answer.

    3. If you want to allow comments‘Allow Comments’, you can put a check there.

    4. Press the green plus ‘Plus’ to , keep adding additional answers.

  11. If you want to delete an answer, you can hit the red 'X' as long as there are no other answers.

  12. Once all desired answers are present, click Save‘Save’.

If you do not close cash register and reopen it, click on the questions tab, there will be no questions ‘questions’ tab initially.

\uD83D\uDCD8 Answering Questions

The question will appear during the sale. When it shows up is based on the Classification‘Classification’.

  1. The question popup will appear, and the cashier will need to ask the question.

  2. The answer will then be selected or entered in depending on the Question Type.

  3. Click Save ‘Save’ when done.

Example of a Multiple or Single Selection question. Multiple lets several be checked and single only one.
