Automatic price calculations from markup will not automatically lower the product price; this is set by default. This means that if you are pricing your products by Markupmarkup, your selling price will not lower decrease automatically if your received cost does.
With Enable Linked Pricing enabled, you can set a number of products to change prices in unison if your price on one product is changed. For example, if you have twelve flavors of Brand X canned cat food - all are food—all the same size and price. If you change price—changing the price on one of the defined cans , will reflect the same price will be reflected on all defined cans.
